These comments were thorough and detailed, requiring UDOT to take the time necessary to conduct further evaluation and provide responses. UDOT anticipates that the Final EIS will be released this summer (2022). The Final EIS will identify a single preferred alternative to improve transportation in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Following a 30-day public review period after the release of the Final EIS, UDOT will identify the selected alternative for implementation in a separate Record of Decision (ROD) in the winter of 2022. 7. 1:03 pm (10 minutes) COG Nomination for Utah Transit Authority Board of Trustees to represent the Central Region (Salt Lake County) - Mayor Dirk Burton 8. 1:13 pm (5 minutes ) - Update of Governing document - Helen Peters a. Proposed changes in redline; please review b. Need to have attorney facilitate the process of making changes; looking for a volunteer c. Proposal is to act at next COG meeting in August to adopt updated document 9. 1:14 pm (1 minute) - Next meeting and COG meeting schedule - Mayor Dirk Burton - Thursday, August 18th - West Jordan Public Works Administration building located at 7980 South 4000 West - Thursday, November 17th - TBD 10. 1:15 pm (5 minutes) Law Enforcement Countywide Services letter - Councilmember Aimee Winder Newton 11. 1:20 pm (10 minutes) Open Discussion and/or New Business - Mayor Dirk Burton Reminder: WFRC's Goals, Budget, and Unified Planning Work Program - Remember to comment and/or provide input on WFRC's FY23 Goals, Budget, and Unified Work Program (UPWP) WFRC is in the process of developing its Goals, Budget, and Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023. The WFRC Budget Committee and Council reviewed these materials and authorized their release for review by the COGs and the public. WFRC is soliciting any input or questions that you may have prior to the WFRC Council taking final action at its regular meeting on May 26. As you know, the members of WFRC are principally appointed from the COGs in the region. Here is a link to WFRC's draft Goals, Budget and UPWP documents for FY23. The materials include a memo summarizing these items, as well as a list of the goals, tables with budget information, and a detailed summary of the UPWP.
