- Public Notice The Town of Mantua has a vacancy for a Town Council Member. Any resident interested in applying for this position can send an email to townofmanuta@gmail.com. Include a brief history of yourself along with your thoughts on becoming a Council Member. All Applicants must be a United States citizen, a registered voter in Mantua, been a resident of Mantua for 12 consecutive months, and have not been convicted of a felony. All applicants should submit their applications no later than December 15, 2021, at 1:00 PM. Applicants shall attend the Council Meeting on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 6:30 PM, when interviews for the Council Member position will be held and the vote for filling the position for Council Member will be taken.
