REGULAR MEETING AGENDA Mapleton City Council Meeting Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 6:00 pm Mapleton City Council Chambers 125 West 400 North, Mapleton, Utah 84664 CALL TO ORDER-INVOCATION- PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ---- MAYOR'S COMMENTS PUBLIC FORUM: Members of the audience may bring to the attention of the Mayor and Council any item that is not on the agenda. Please sign in. Speakers are generally given two to three minutes, at the discretion of the Mayor, to address the Council. State law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. The Mayor reserves the right to amend the order of the agenda items and to delete items no longer required for consideration. CONSENT AGENDA: Items on the consent agenda are routine in nature and do not require discussion or independent action. Members of the Council may ask to remove any items from the consent agenda to be considered individually. Unless that is done, one motion may be used to adopt all recommended actions. If the public has questions or comments regarding the consent agenda, please contact staff prior to the meeting. 1. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- September 15, 2021 2. Consideration of a resolution authorizing the future purchase of two pickup trucks to replace trucks at the end of their service life. Estimated cost $30,000 - $35,000 each. Consideration of a resolution authorizing a contract with Precision Concrete Cutting to repair the sidewalk hazards as detailed in the Sidewalk Master Plan. Consideration of a resolution approving the Preliminary Plat approval for the Wren Meadows Subdivision, an 8-lot subdivision located at 1200 North 1700 East in the A-2 zone with the TDR-R Overlay. Consideration of a resolution approving the Preliminary Plat approval for the Mountain View Point Subdivision, a 4-lot subdivision located at 1116 East 900 North in the RA-2 Zone. Consideration of an ordinance vacating approximately 19,000 square feet of undeveloped right-of-way at approximately 1200 S and 800 West. A discussion item regarding a request to convert an existing retention basin into a residential lot located at approximately 600 West Lookout Point Drive in the Triple Crown subdivision.
