The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting July 13, 2021 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes -- Mayor - June 8, 2021 Public Hearing for the 2021-2022 Library Budget held at 5:50pm. - June 8, 2021 Public Hearing for the 2021-2022 Mt Pleasant City Budget held at 5:55 pm. - June 8, 2021 Public Hearing for Power Impact Fees held at 6:20pm. - June 8, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 pm. - June 22, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 pm. - June 29, 2021 Public Hearing for the 2020-2021 Amended Library Budget held at 6:35pm. - June 29, 2021 Public Hearing for the 2020-2021 Amended Budget for Mt Pleasant City held at 6:40 pm. - June 29, 2021 Special City Council Meeting held at 7:00 pm. - June 29, 2021 Special Work Session held at 7:15 pm. 5. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor - Transaction Register dated 6-01-2021 to 6-30-2021 in the amount of $8,308.03. 6. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 6-08-2021 to 7-09-2021 in the amount of $486,549.27. 7. Discussion/Action-Nikki Neves - Report on Hub City Days Rodeo. 8. Discussion/Action-Dave Oxman - Proposal for new online program to look up where people are buried in the cemetery. o Initial Set-up is $4,500 and will cost $950/year. 9. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion and possible action on City Roads 10. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 11. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion/Action on hiring of a Groundsman in the Power Department. 12. Discussion/Action on Resolutions--Mayor - Resolution 2021-15 Amending Resolution 2029-13 'A Resolution Establishing Connection Fees for all Utilities Within and Without the City Limits of Mt. Pleasant City.' 13. Discussion/Action on Ordinance-Mayor - Ordinance 2021-05 An Ordinance Updating the Salaries of the Statutory Offices of Mt Pleasant City 14. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 15. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 16. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 17.
