5-DAY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR DAVIS COUNTY CDBG-CV PROGRAM YEAR 2020 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AMENDMENT Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday April 6, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. a public hearing will be held in Room 303, Commission Chambers, Administration Building, 61 South Main Street, Farmington, Utah, before the Davis County Commission to accept public comments on the following: Substantial Amendment to the PY2020 Davis County Annual Action Plan Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) Cares Act Funding received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); The County is amending CDBG-CV Program Year 2020 Project(s). In accordance with 24 CFR 91.500 and other waivers that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for CDBG-CV funds received through the CARES Act. The CARES Act provides CDBG Grantees with flexibilities that make it easier to use CDBG-CV grants for fiscal years 2020 CDBG grants for coronavirus response authorized and authorizes HUD to grant waivers and alternative requirements. In-person public hearings are not required. Grantees may meet public hearing requirements with virtual public hearings if: 1) national/local health authorities recommend social distancing and limiting public gatherings for public health reasons; and 2) virtual hearings provide reasonable notification and access for citizens in accordance with the grantee's certifications, timely responses from local officials to all citizen questions and issues, and public access to all questions and responses. If you are unable to attend and want your voice to be heard, written comments may be submitted to slyon@daviscountyutah.gov. Comments will also be accepted c/o Grants Administrator, 61 S Main St. Suite 304, Farmington, UT 84025.
