The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting March 9, 2021 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes -- Mayor - February 3, 2021 Special Work Session held at 6:00 p.m. - February 9, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. - February 23, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. 5. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor - Transaction Register dated 2-01-2021 to 2-28-2021 in the amount of ($1546.15). 6. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 2-20-2021 to 3-08-2021 in the amount of $316,320.45. 7. Discussion/Action - Mayor & Council - Water Connection o Mark Puett 8. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 9. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion and possible action on Culinary Water Impact Fees. Ordinance 2021-01 An Ordinance Adopting Culinary Water Impact Fees. 10. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 11. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 12. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 13. Go into Closed Session - Council Vote - Council will go into a Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code annotated 52-4-5 to: o Discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. o Hold a strategy session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property. 14. Reopen the Regular City Council Meeting - Council Vote - Council will determine if any action should be taken from items discussed during the Closed Session at this time. 15. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 16. Mayor Report 17.
