The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting December 22, 2020 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 12-05-2020 to 12-18-2020 5. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Presentation of New Police Officer to Council - Presentation of the Volunteer of the Month - Dan Anderson 6. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 7. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Present Cache Valley Bank proposal for the Culinary Water Project. o Set a date for a public hearing 8. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Properties associated with the North Sanpete School District and Mt. Pleasant City. 9. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 10. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion/Action: Mt. Pleasant City Power Strategic Plan and Goals - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 11. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 12. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 13. Mayor Report 14.
