The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting December 8, 2020 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes -- Mayor - November 10, 2020 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. - November 24, 2020 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. 5. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor - Transaction Register dated 11-01-2020 to 11-30-2020 in the amount of $695.43. 6. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 11-24-2020 to 12-04-2020 in the amount of $260,309.80. 7. Discussion/Action - Lynn England Ten Year Plan - In accordance with Utah Code 10-9a-401 et seq., the Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission is hereby submitting to the Mt. Pleasant City Council its recommended General Plan for 2020-30. The City Council may make revisions or amendments to the General Plan prior to final submission for adoption on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. 8. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Resolution 2020-11 A Resolution of Mt. Pleasant City Adopting the 2020 Six County Region Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation Plan. 9. Discussion/Action - Shane Ward - Steel Solar Project 10. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 11. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 12. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 13. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 14. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 15. Mayor Report 16.
