2) Olympic Park Subdivision- Plan Amendment-Randy Moore, Developer; Julia Friedman, Planner
a) Applicant, Randy Moore, is requesting Plat Amendment approval for the Olympic Park Subdivision (#30670). The Planning Commission approved the preliminary subdivision plat on September 9, 2019.The subdivision plat was recorded on June 20, 2020. Since this time, development activity has occurred on the site with public improvements in place. At this time, single-family home building permits are being processed and construction is underway. The applicant's request includes the removal of the park strip, with a wider sidewalk (approximately 5') along the southern part of 5950 South as you enter the subdivision off of Cougar Lane. Electronic Meeting Written Determination of the Kearns Metro Township
Pursuant to House Bill 5002, 'Open and Public Meetings Act Amendments,' passed during the 2020 Fifth Special Session of the Utah Legislature and codified under Utah Code Ann. § 52-4-207(4), I, Mayor Kelly Bush, hereby make the following written determination warranting the Kearns Metro Township Council to convene and conduct an electronic meeting without an anchor location:
Given the ongoing Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, conducting the meeting with an anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present at the anchor location.
