Laketown Town Council Agenda October 7, 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Town of Laketown Town Council will hold a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 7, 2020 in the Laketown Town Office located at 10 North 200 East Laketown, Utah. In our effort to listen and follow the directions of our STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES to practice social distancing and for local governments to remain open and still provide services, the public is invited to attend this meeting electronically. We advise that you call in. PUBLIC HEARING To consider, receive public comment and discuss with the Laketown residents to amend the Laketown town code as follows: A. Master Plan - Resolution 2020-03 Reaffirming the master plan prepared by the planning and zoning commission in December 2006. B. Ordinance 2020-05 Commercial Residential Buffer Zone - Consideration to amend the town code to create a new commercial residential zone allowing the option for 200 feet of the 500-foot commercial zone to be a residential zone amending the zoning regulations 10-5-1, 10-7A. In 2017, the planning and zoning commission held a public hearing for this new commercial residential buffer zone. The public was heard at that time, the commission recommended to adopt this new zone and the town council approved. This ordinance documents the 2017 approval of the commercial residential buffer zone in writing for insertion in our town code. C. Ordinance 2020-06 Container or such similar enclosure shall not be allowed in residential zone - Consideration to amend the Public Health and Safety town code to establish paragraph 3 Container or such similar enclosure 4-2-2A. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ On Saturday, September 28, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. a copy of the foregoing notice was posted on the Utah Public Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov and on the Laketown website at www.laketownutah.com. A copy was also posted in conspicuous view in the Laketown Town Office in Laketown, Utah and on the front door, and inside and outside of the Laketown post office and at Dee's Service Station.
