Utah Code Section 53F-2-522 - Public Education Mental Health Screening requires each LEA governing board to submit a Record of Determination to the State Board indicating whether the LEA will be a participating LEA or a non-participating LEA for the 2026-2027 school year.
A participating LEA is one that administers an approved mental health screening program in accordance with statute and rule.
A non-participating LEA is one that does not administer an approved mental health screening program.
