NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, 1 September 2020, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Roll call Pledge of Allegiance Prayer Petitions & communications: 1. Corey Walker, concerning request for relief on water overage charge Business 1. Town Parameters Resolution: A RESOLUTION OF WALES TOWN, SANPETE COUNTY, UTAH (THE 'TOWN'), APPROVING THE ADOPTION BY THE AUTHORITY OF A PARAMETERS RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NOT MORE THAN $325,000 LEASE REVENUE BONDS FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING, AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS. 2. LBA Parameters Resolution: A RESOLUTION OF THE LOCAL BUILDING AUTHORITY OF WALES TOWN, UTAH, CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AND AUTHORIZING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE NOT MORE THAN $325,000 OF LEASE REVENUE BONDS, IN ONE OR MORE SERIES, FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC SAFETY BUIDING, AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS; FIXING THE MAXIMUM INTEREST RATE, MATURITY AND DISCOUNT OF THE BONDS; AND RELATED MATTERS. 3. Approve/disapprove seven (7) extra hours, at $7.25 per hour, to be paid to Mayor Mitchell for the month of August, for time put in pursuing a CIB supplemental grant/loan for the public safety building 4. Discuss & adopt policies -- to comply with 'fraud risk assessment' Approval of minutes for town council meeting held 4 August 2020 Approval for payment of August 2020 invoices Reports of officers and boards Residents who wish to address the town council on any observations or problems concerning Wales Town will be given five (5) minutes to speak. Additional time will be allowed at the discretion of the Mayor and Town Board. No decision will be made unless said citizen arranges for time on the Agenda at least five (5) days prior to the town council meeting. Town council meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month.
