- Notice of Intent to Prepare Amendments to the Hooper City General Plan Posted on September 1st, 2020 NOTICE is hereby given that Hooper City, Utah intends to prepare a comprehensive general plan amendment during the 2020-2021 calendar year. Any such amendments may have City-wide impact to the General Plan elements of Land Use, Moderate Income Housing Plan, Public Facilities, Parks and Trails, Environmental Planning, Streets and Transportation, as well as, other elements of the extisting City General Plan. This notice is provided pursuant to Utah State Code (10-9a-202 and 10-9a-403). The public and each of the Affected Entities are invited and will have several opportunities to provide information for the city to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the proposed plan amendments concerning (a) impacts that the use of land covered by the plan amendments may have on such Affected Entity: and (b) uses of land within the city that such Affected Entity is planning or considering that may conflict with the plan amendments. The City's website will host draft documents, meeting schedules and contact information. It can be found at: https://www.hoopercity.com/ as it becomes available or you can contact the City Recorder, Shauna Vanderschaf, admin@hoopercity.com, (801) 732-1064. Interested parties are encouraged to subscribe to future notices through the State Public Notice website (http://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html) for further information including detailed meeting agendas and other issues related to the planning process.
