Description/Agenda

1. Call to Order 2. Public Comment 3. Follow-up on Parking Lot at the 7 to Eleven (discussion) A nuisance issue was brought to the attention of the City Council, concerning dust, trash, and noise. A violation letter was sent to the owner of the property, to which a response was received for resolutions pertaining to the violations. 4. Consider Proposed Parking Between City Shop and Businesses on Main Street (discussion/action) 5. Follow-up on Items Behind Second Hand Store (discussion) Staff discussions came to a decision to deny licensure of business to new owner until all items are removed. It was discussed that perhaps licensure be revoked if the problem continues. 6. Consider Goals for New City Manager (action) City Manager Evan Bolt has asked the Council to come up with some priorities for fulfilling his role as City Manager. 7. Consider Amendment of Consolidated Fee Schedule for Sanitation Rates (action)Conclusion of rates study by City staff suggests sanitation commercial rates are in need of adjustment. 8. Water Report (information) 9. Consider Upcoming Agenda Items (action) 10. Consider Closed Session for the Purpose of Discussion the Professional Competence of an Employee (action) 11. Consider Succession Plan for City Recorder/Deputy Recorder Positions (action) The City Recorder will be leaving her position on December 13. THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND ALL CITY MEETINGS Monticello City Council holds meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, unless otherwise posted, at the Monticello City Office, 17 N 100 E, beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone needing special accommodations to attend a meeting may contact the City Office, 587-2271, at least three working days prior to the meeting. City Council may adjourn to closed session by majority vote, pursuant to Utah Code §52-4-4 & 5.
