REGULAR AGENDA Mapleton City Council Meeting Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 7:00 pm Mapleton City Council Chambers 125 West 400 North, Mapleton, Utah 84664 CALL TO ORDER-INVOCATION- PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE MAYOR'S COMMENTS PUBLIC FORUM: Members of the audience may bring to the attention of the Mayor and Council any item that is not on the agenda. Please sign in. Speakers are generally given two to three minutes, at the discretion of the Mayor, to address the Council. State law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. The Mayor reserves the right to amend the order of the agenda items and to delete items no longer required for consideration. CONSENT AGENDA: The Consent Agenda consists of items that are administrative actions where no additional discussion is needed. When approved, the recommendations in the staff reports become the action of the Council. The Agenda provides an opportunity for public comment. If after the public comment the Council removes an item from the consent agenda for discussion, the item will keep its agenda number and will be added to the regular agenda for discussion, unless placed otherwise by the Council. 1. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- August 27, 2019, November 6, 2019 and November 19, 2019 2. Consideration of a Resolution for the appointment of Bryce Oyler as the Finance Director, Cory Branch, City Administrator 3. Consideration of a Resolution ratifying the cost of the new police vehicle. John Jackson, Public Safety Director/Police Chief ACTION ITEMS: 4. Presentation of the fiscal year 2018-2019 Audit Report. Bryce Oyler, Interim Finance Director 5. Consideration of a Resolution to approve a Feasibility Study between Mapleton City and Uptown Services, LLC for the purpose of a market assessment to consider future internet access in Mapleton. Cory Branch, City Administrator PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: 6. Consideration of an Ordinance amending the outdoor water dedication requirements for new subdivisions Sean Conroy, Community Development Director 7. Consideration of an ordinance amending Mapleton City Code Chapter 10.05.070 regarding street parking in winter months. Cory Branch, City Administrator MAYOR, COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS ADJOURNMENT FROM REGULAR SESSION CLOSED MEETING: Mapleton City Council may adjourn the regular meeting and convene into a closed session pursuant to 52-4-205, as provided by Utah Code.
