La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, October 2, 2019 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah A. Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Review Checks and Invoices: $144,106.99 C. Committee Reports: Fire District, Sewer District, Planning Commission, Water Board D. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 20 minutes with each individual taking no more than 3 minutes. E. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action for a preliminary plat approval extension for the 275 West Road Dedication. 2. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution No. R-2019-23; a resolution revising the map adopted by Resolution No. R-2018-01, for the purpose of dispersing and limiting vacation rentals within the City, pursuant to the provisions of Section 10-7-20 of the La Verkin City Code, to divide into two areas the area known therein as Area #1. 3. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution No. R-2019-24; a resolution revising the City's Personnel Policy to update and clarify the City's policies on personal use of public property, and providing an effective date. 4. Discussion and possible action to approve a monetary donation to the Five County Association of Governments Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent Programs. F.
