PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE A petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Pleasant Grove City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a 13.27 acre parcel of land to be known as BETTER INVESTMENT ANNEXATION to be annexed into Pleasant Grove City. Location is approximately 4801 West 6800 North, American Fork with the zoning designation of INTERCHANGE SUBDISTRICT IN THE GROVE ZONE. SEC. 30, T5S, R2E, SLB&M.; E 392.59 FT; S 0 DEG 19' 53' W 1133.43 FT; ALONG A CURVE TO R (CHORD BEARS: N 53 DEG 1' 31' W 350.07 FT, RADIUS = 3445.69 FT); N 49 DEG 51' 46' W 340.46 FT; N 442.79 FT; E 131.81 FT; N 4 DEG 51' 0' E 261.53 FT TO BEG. AREA 10.708 AC. Legal Description 14:054:0154 COM S 89 DEG 37' 36' E 59.06 FT & S 33.37 FT FR W 1/4 COR. SEC. 30, T5S, R2E, SLB&M.; S 4 DEG 51' 0' W 260.77 FT; W 131.76 FT; N 226.87 FT; E 94.75 FT; N 32.96 FT; E 59.05 FT TO BEG. AREA 0.780 AC. The area to be annexed will automatically be annexed into the local district for fire, paramedic, emergency services and law enforcement services. Notice of Certification was received by the Pleasant Grove City Council on May 13, 2019. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Pleasant Grove City Recorder, 70 South 100 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah during regular business hours. Pleasant Grove City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition, unless a written protest to the annexation petition is filed no later than July 9, 2019, with the Utah County Boundary Commission, 100 E. Center Street, Suite 2300, Provo, Utah 84606, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the same date, a copy of the protest shall also be filed with the Pleasant Grove City Recorder's Office, 70 S. 100 E., Pleasant Grove, Utah, 84062, Monday - Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 8 am to noon. The Public Hearing is scheduled to be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in the Community Room 108 S 100 E, Pleasant Grove, Utah, to receive public comment and to consider approving the proposed annexation.
