NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, Gunnison, UT 84634 beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) Public Comment 3) Discuss Storm Drainage at Approximately 200 East 200 South with Proposed Approval of Mitigation, Ross & Mekenzy Peterson 4) Proposed Approval of New Lifeguards at the Pool ~ Manager Kevin Havey 5) Proposed Approval of New Part-time Library Assistant ~ Mayor Nay 6) Proposed Approval of New Planning Commission Member ~ Mayor Nay 7) Review City Wide Clean Up Plans - Plan to Encourage Residents to Participate, Report on Beautification for City, and on Properties with Complaints 8) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, April 17, 2019 and Monday, April 29, 2019 9) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 10) Future Items 11) Closed Session 12) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-205(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
