D. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - PROPOSED BOUNDARY CHANGE AND SCHOOL RE-PURPOSING
The Washington County Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on a proposed change to the boundaries of Coral Cliffs Elementary and Dixie Sun Elementary schools. The boundaries of Arrowhead Elementary, Diamond Valley Elementary, Red Mountain Elementary, Santa Clara Elementary, and Sunset Elementary schools would also be adjusted to take in additional students. As part of this change, the Coral Cliffs Elementary building will be re-purposed as a professional development school and as a District program facility. In addition, Dixie Sun Elementary will begin a dual-language strand/hybrid in order to accommodate the increased enrollment from the new boundary students. A map of the proposed boundary changes and adjustments can be viewed at www.washk12.org.
E. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - PRIORITY CHANGE OF BOND ITEM
The Washington County Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 4:45 p.m. to receive public comment on a proposed priority change to specific items included as part of the approved Bond Projects for 2019-2023.
