- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING December 19, 2018 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting December 19, 2018 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. MOTION: Fill Mid-term vacancy on Huntington City council - In harmony with Utah Code, interview and appoint a person from the submitted and qualified nominees to fill the subject vacancy. The appointment will expire on December 31, 2019. 1. MOTION: Approval of November 14, 2018 City Council minutes 2. MOTION: Business License 3. MOTION: Change the number on the resolution for copy fees to 16-2018 from 14-2018 4. Approval for Sam # (System for Award Management) 5. MOTION: Contract with Pelorus for the city audit committee 6. Discussion of adding a new link to our website 7. Discussion on the Youth City Council program 8. MOTION: Approval or changes to Huntington City Code Title 3 9. MOTION: Ordinance 2-2018 Renewal of Permanent Business Licenses 10. MOTION: Ordinance 3-2018 To Increase penalty for Late Payment on Business Licenses. 11. Public Comments 12. Mayor's Report 13. Departmental Reports (Fire department, Maintenance department) 14. Council's Reports 15. Zoning Administrator Report 16. City Claims and Review of Financials Adjournment Notice Provisions: Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda were posted in three public places within the Huntington City limits. These public places being 1) Huntington City Hall; 2) Desertview Federal Credit Union; and 3) the U.S. Post Office. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
