NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold consecutive Public Hearings along with its regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, Gunnison, UT 84634, beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) Public Comment 3) 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comments Regarding the Development of a General Plan, BYU Urban Planning Group 4) 8:00 p.m. Review Conditional Use Permit Application with Proposed Approval, PacificCorp, Brent Dewsnup ~ Councilmember Jensen 5) Discuss Land Use Ordinance Amendment Application, Proposed Zone Change at Approximately 410 North 200 West from A-1 (Agricultural) to RR-1 (Residential), Tim Sanders ~ Councilmember Jensen 6) 8:30 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment Regarding a Proposed Community Development Block Grant Application. The Purpose of the Public Hearing is to Provide Citizens with Pertinent Information about the CDBG Program, and to Allow for Discussion of Possible Applications. This Public Hearing will Cover Eligible Activities, Program Requirements, and Expected Funding Allocations in the Region 7) Review MOU between Gunnison City and Gunnison Community Scouts with Proposed Approval, Dr. Dwight Inouye 8) Update on Status of 500 South Sidewalk with Proposed Approval of Changes ~ Mayor Nay 9) Proposed Approval of Expenditure to Sunrise Engineering for Water Conservation Plan ~ Councilmember Andersen 10) Proposed Approval of Contract with PEHP for City Employees 11) Discuss Christmas Decor and Lighting ~ Councilmember Donaldson 12) Proposed Approval of Donation to Gunnison City Christmas Light Parade 13) Discuss Planning Commission Vacancy with Proposed Approval to Appoint Position ~ Mayor Nay 14) Discuss and Proposed Approval of Employee Incentive Program 15) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Open Session 16) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 17) Future Items 18) Closed Session 19) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-205(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
