NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Work Meeting and Public Hearings along with its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center. The Work Meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Council Meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. Work Meeting 1) Discuss and Organize Spring Cleanup Projects Council Meeting 1) Invocation 2) 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Receive Public Comment Regarding the Proposed Land Acquisition at Approximately 155 South Main including the Proposed Loan from a Utility Fund and the Terms of the Loan Needed to Facilitate this Acquisition 3) 7:30 p.m. Public Hearing to Reopen the 2015-2016 Budget and Receive Public Comment Regarding the Increase Needed to Allow for the Proposed Land Acquisition and the Respective Loans along with the Proposed Potential Sale of the said Land to Follow 4) Proposed Approval of Land Acquisition at Approximately 155 South Main including Terms of Loan from Utility Fund and Approval of Authorization for Mayor to Sign Contract 5) Discuss Proposed Usage of Property at Approximately 682 South Main ~ David Wright 6) Discuss Proposed Mobile Business License Ordinance, an Amendment to the City's Land Use Ordinances ~ Councilmember Jensen 7) Discuss Progress of Spring Cleanup and Gravel Projects ~ Councilmember Hill 8) Update on Fire Dept. Board Meeting ~ Councilmember Carlisle 9) Proposed Approval to Purchase Streetlights and Poles to Replace and/or Repair Damaged Streetlights and Poles ~ Councilmember Jensen 10) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, March 16, 2016, Open and Closed Sessions 11) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 12) Future Items 13) Closed Session 14) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
