PROVO MUNICIPAL COUNCIL STUDY MEETING AGENDA May 19, 2009 at *5:30 p.m. at 351 West Center Street, Provo Opening Prayer Council Business Minutes: Approval of the minutes from the May 5, 2009 Study Meeting. Calendar Council Information: 5 min Discussions / Presentations 1. Discussion on a resolution electing not to appoint a City Constable. 5 min 2. Presentation on parking citations 5 min 3. Discussion on end of fiscal year budget requests: 20 min a. Debt Service transfer and appropriation 1. An appropriation in the amount of $93,513 from the Debt Service fund to the Airport Capital Improvement Fund to cover inter-fund interest expenses for fiscal 2009 for purchase of land adjacent to the Airport. 2. An appropriation in the amount of $104,500 to cover inter-fund interest expenses relating to the Arts CenterUSX and Action Target/NHS loans which were not included in the adopted budget. b. An appropriation in the amount of $60,842 into project #2000, Action Target 200 North property. Monies are proceeds from the land sale from Jones Leasing Company for the purchase of the property. c. An appropriation in the amount of $50,000 in the Insurance and Claims Fund (640) to cover unforeseen and potential claims against the City to the end of fiscal year June 30, 2009. 4.
