NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING ELMO TOWN COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE: is hereby given that the Elmo Town Council will meet in their regular public session on August 11th at 7:30 p.m. in Elmo Town Hall, Elmo, Utah. 1. Welcome: Tim welcomed everyone to town meeting. 2. Citizen Concerns: no citizens are present. 3. Safety Deposit Box & Water Certificates for Town: Tim explained we have a safety deposit and need to get into it and either find the key or have the lock drilled out. Stoney made a motion. Tara seconded. 4. Emery County School District Property Lease: The town has renewed the lease and is good until 2030 but Tim will check and make sure we have it all figured out. 5. Updating all bank accounts for Elmo Town with current and correct information: We need to update the past stoney made a motion to remove former town council, employees, and clerk/treasurer or any past employees. Tara seconded. All in attendance agreed. 6. Water Restrictions/reports: we are good on water usage but did use more than we planned. 7. Planning & Zoning Committee: No updates to report. 8. Town Employee Report: nothing new to report. The park looked great for Horse & Buggy Days 9. Recreation Board Report: There will be a wiffle ball league starting for nov-dec. 8-18 age. 10. CVSSD Board Report: There is plans to have construction done in town, but they are still in Orangeville. They are coming to put in sewer and culinary. 11. EEMSSD Board Report: There is a new class starting at the end of the month. 12. Beautification Committee Report: Christmas décor is ordered and coming. Tara will be getting décor for fall and Halloween. 13. Board Member Reports/Concerns: Kendall explained everyone loved the new horseshoe pits and got lots of compliments about the town and how nice it looks. Tim got quotes to have the road done by the Romerils new construction. The sewer for 200 East needs to be done. Secondary for 100 East and 200 East. Asphalt down 400 East. 14. Gabbe's Items -Approval of Minutes and Bills, Review Monthly Financial Statements. Stoney made a motion to approve minutes,bills etc. Kendall seconded. All in attendance. Meeting adjourned. Any other business that may regularly come before the Council. Please call ahead if you need specific accommodation so that we can assist you to fully participate at this meeting at 503-442-7459.
