NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED ANNEXATION
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Saratoga Springs, Utah, at their meeting of October 6, has approved Resolution R26-50 (10-06-26), pursuant to Utah Code § 10-2-812, indicating its intent on annexing property owned by the City of Saratoga Springs which constitutes all or part of an unincorporated island or peninsula of Utah County, a county of the second class, contiguous to and/or surrounded by land of the City of Saratoga Springs, Utah, which property is more specifically described as follows:
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
A PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND SITUATE IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 1 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN. BASIS OF BEARING FOR SUBJECT PARCEL BEING NORTH 00°10'25' WEST 2651.16 FEET (MEASURED) (COINCIDENT WITH THE WEST LINE OF SAID SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 19. The City of Saratoga Springs City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed annexation on
November 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 319 S. Saratoga Road, Saratoga Springs, Utah 84045.
The City Council will annex the area unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the annexation are filed by the owners of private real property that: (a) is located within the area proposed for annexation; (b) covers a majority of the total private land area within the entire area proposed for annexation; and (c) is equal in value to at least 1/2 the value of all private real property within the entire area proposed for annexation.
The annexation petition and plat map are available for inspection and copying at the office of the City Recorder.
