PUBLIC HEARING - Cedar City Planning Commission Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Cedar City Planning Commission on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026, starting at 5:15 p.m. in the Cedar City Council Chambers located at 10 N. Main Street, Cedar City, Utah. Time will be allowed for public comments on the following: 1. Consider an Amended Plat for Property Located at 679 North 3550 West. 2. Ordinance Text Amendment Pertaining to Section 26-III-21 Permitted and Conditional Uses. 3. Consider a Development Agreement for Property Located at 2415 West 1250 South within the Iron Horse Residential Development Overlay. All in Cedar City, Utah Posted October 9, 2026 Ordinance Summary Planning Commission Public Hearing for October 20, 2026 Section 26-III-21- Permitted and Conditional Uses The proposed change will add language to the subject section creating a process to determine if a use that is not currently listed in the table of uses aligns with an existing use or is considered a new use or unlisted use. Additionally, the proposal adds language to bring a new or unlisted use before the City Council to determine the classification if necessary. Development Agreement- 2415 West 1250 South The request is to allow a building or buildings to exceed the height limitation in the Mixed-Use Zone. The proposal will allow a height limit of fifty (50) feet in lieu of the current requirement of thirty-five (35) feet.
