NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION Solara Communities, LLC Annexation Petition Notice is hereby given that a petition has been filed with Toquerville City proposing the annexation of an area to the City. The Solara Communities, LLC Annexation Petition was certified by the municipal records officer on September 18, 2026. Toquerville City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless, no later than October 19, 2026, a written protest is filed with the Washington County Clerk and a copy is delivered or mailed to the Toquerville City Recorder on the same date. PROPOSED ANNEXATION AREA Approximately 200.07 acres identified as Tax ID: 3151-A-1-HV, generally located on the west side of I-15, off Mills Lane, approximately two miles south of Exit 27 (I-15). The annexation map and legal description included with this notice identify the boundaries. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Toquerville City Recorder, 212 N. Toquerville Blvd., Toquerville, UT 84774, during regular business hours. PROTEST DEADLINE: OCTOBER 19, 2026 WHO MAY FILE A PROTEST? Under Utah Code § 10-2-810, a protest may be filed only by: - The legislative body or governing board of an affected entity; - An owner of rural real property located within the area proposed for annexation; or - An owner of private real property located in a mining protection area. WHERE TO FILE A PROTEST A written protest must be filed in accordance with Utah Code § 10-2-810 with: Washington County Clerk 111 East Tabernacle Street St. George, UT 84770 A copy of the written protest must also be delivered or mailed on the same date to: Toquerville City Recorder 212 N. Toquerville Blvd. / PO Box 27 Toquerville, UT 84774 ________________________________________ This notice is posted on the State website at pmn.utah.gov, on the Toquerville City website at www.toquerville.utah.gov, at the intersection of Boulder Drive and Mills Lane, at the Toquerville City Office Building, 212 N. Toquerville Blvd., and at the Westfield Road Kiosk, Cholla Creek Kiosk, and Trail Ridge Estates Park Kiosk. Posted September 28, 2026, by Toquerville City Recorder, Emily Teaters. Copies of this notice are being mailed to each residence and each owner of real property within the designated geographic area as required by Utah Code §§ 63G-30-102 and 10-2-808. Written notice is also being mailed to each affected entity as required by Utah Code § 10-2-808.
