Notice of The Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District Summit County, Utah Special Bond Election Public Notice is hereby given that on November 3, 2026, the polls will open at 7 a.m. and continue open until 8 p.m.; a special bond election (the 'Bond Election') will be held in the Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District, Summit County, Utah (the 'District') in conjunction with the general election to be held that day. The location of ballot drop boxes, the location and hours of polling places, including early voting polling places and hours, and quali cations of individuals who may vote in the election can be found at https://www.summitcountyutah.gov/281/Voter-Registration-Elections, and the statewide voter information website, https://vote.utah.gov/, or by emailing elections@summitcountyutah.gov or by calling 435-336-3040, or at 60 North Main Street, Coalville, Utah 84017. Any changes to the location of a polling place or ballot drop box will be posted on these websites. To qualify to vote in this bond election, an individual must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old on or before November 3, 2026, a resident of Utah for at least 30 calendar days immediately prior to the election, and a resident of a voting district or precinct within the Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District. OFFICIAL BALLOT PROPOSITION FOR THE SNYDERVILLE BASIN SPECIAL RECREATION DISTRICT, SUMMIT COUNTY, UTAH SPECIAL BOND ELECTION NOVEMBER 3, 2026 CERTIFIED BY THE CLERK OF SUMMIT COUNTY PROPOSITION Shall the Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District (the 'District'), of Summit County, Utah (the 'County') be authorized to issue General Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed Seventy-One Million Dollars ($71,000,000) (the 'Bonds') for the purpose of nancing all or a portion of the costs of acquiring and/or constructing recreational facilities, related site improvements, and trail and open space improvements within the District; said Bonds to be due and payable in not to exceed twenty (20) years from the date of issuance of the Bonds? Property Tax Cost of Bonds: If the Bonds are issued as planned, a property tax sufficient to pay debt service on the Bonds will be required over a period of twenty (20) years in the estimated average amount of $120.94 per year on a $1,000,000 primary residence and in the estimated amount of $219.90 per year on a business property having the same value. The District has other outstanding bonds for which a tax decrease would occur upon the retirement of such bonds, which may not occur if the proposed Bonds are issued. The foregoing information is only an estimate and is not a limit on the amount of taxes that the County may be required to levy to pay debt service on the Bonds. The Summit County Council is obligated to levy taxes to the extent provided by law in order to pay the Bonds. The amounts are based on various assumptions and estimates, including estimated debt service on the Bonds and taxable values of property within the District. FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS (YES) AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS (NO) Pursuant to applicable provisions of Utah State law, the period allowed for any contest of the Bond Election shall end forty (40) days after November 17, 2026 (the date on which the returns of the Bond Election are to be canvassed and the results thereof declared). No such contest shall be maintained unless a complaint meeting the requirements of applicable law is led with the Clerk of the District Court of Summit County within the prescribed forty (40) day period.
