PUBLIC HEARING: The West Haven City Planning Commission of West Haven City, Utah will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, the 23rd Day of September, 2026 in the Council Chambers at 4150 South 3900 West, West Haven, Utah from the hour of 6:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, for the purpose of receiving public input on amending the Zoning Map from A-1 and R-2 (9.42 acres) for 2057 S 2700 W Parcels 150760118, 154230002, and 150760158. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard. Public comment can be made in person and digitally via Zoom https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86539464549. Written comments may be mailed to 4150 South 3900 West, West Haven, UT 84401 or emailed to emilyg@westhavenut.gov by 4:30 PM on September 23, 2026. All written comments will be provided to the Planning Commission and City Council.
Summary: The A-1 Zone (Agricultural) is a residential and agricultural zone that allows residential development on lots with a minimum area of 20,000 sq. ft., as well as a variety of agricultural and residential uses. A full list of uses can be found in West Haven Code § 157.230-§ 157.240. The R-2 Zone (Residential Low-Moderate Density) is a residential zone that allows for residential development with a maximum of two units per acre and a minimum lot size of 12,500 square feet. A list of permitted uses can be found in West Haven Code § 157.120- § 157.129.
