NOTICE is hereby given that the WASATCH COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a Public Hearing on September 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Wasatch County Council Chambers, located at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, to consider the below listed items; and that the WASATCH COUNTY COUNCIL will hold a Public Hearing on September 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Wasatch County Council Chambers to consider the below listed items advanced to the County Council by the Planning Commission*. For questions regarding connecting to the webinar please call the Planning Department at 435-657-3205. *Details for Online meeting participation for the County Council meeting can be found on the agenda for that meeting. Both the Planning Commission and County Council meetings will also be available for viewing live and afterwards at: https://wasatchcout.portal.civicclerk.com/. Regular Agenda: All matters listed on the regular agenda will be presented and heard individually by the Planning Commission. 1. A proposed code amendment to 16.21.17(B,3) regarding residential facilities for persons with disabilities and an amendment to 16.04 adding a definition for 'Disabled Persons'. *If forwarded, the recommendation by the Planning Commission on this item will be considered by the County Council as the Legislative Body at a Public Hearing on September 16, 2026 (Doug Smith and Alex Stoedter) 2. Paul Berg, representing KEW Consulting LLC, requests preliminary approval for Heritage Hills, a 23-lot conservation subdivision with 2 additional lots that are considered lots of record. The subdivision is located in Sections 5 & 8, Township 4S, and Range 6E in the Residential Agriculture 1 (RA-1) and Mountain (M) zones. The proposal also includes a county initiated request to amend the master trail plan to change the trail on Lake Creek Road east of 6400 East from the north side of Lake Creek Road to the south side of Lake Creek Road. *If forwarded, the recommendation by the Planning Commission on this item will be considered by the County Council as the Land Use Authority, at a Public Hearing on September 16, 2026 (PLAN-Prelim-26-003; Doug Smith) 3. Riley Streit, representing Cannon Development Company, LLC, requests Final Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit review for a clubhouse, pool, and pickleball courts for The Crossings at Lake Creek located at 2822 East Cottage Lake Road in the Residential Agricultural 1 (RA-1) zone. (CUP-26-003; Austin Corry) All interested persons are invited to attend. A work meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. prior to the regular Planning Commission meeting. This work meeting is for discussion purposes only. The public is welcome to attend, however formal presentation of items, public comment and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 6:00 p.m. For information, please call the Planning Department at 435-657-3205 *County Council Public Hearings will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the date specified.
