Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Meeting Agenda Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, August 20, 2026, 7 PM Meeting Place: Old Town Hall (105 South 100 East) Opening Motions Excused: Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve July meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) - Discuss Main Street next steps. - Give update on pins project. - Talk about historical city markers. Community Outreach (Amy Wadley) - Debrief the 200 South walking tour. - Give update on the October fall lecture. - Talk about Heritage Festival assignments. Archives (Sharalyn Howcroft) History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) Give update on next project: the 'Strange but True Stories from PG History' scripts for storytellers at our fall lecture. Other Business Items 1. Discuss Heritage Festival with Andi Veenker and Ashlyn Harker. 2. Geri Taylor is no longer on the Commission due to health challenges. 3. Vote to approve (or deny) attendance clause to our bylaws. 4. Vote to approve (or deny) the FY2026 project list and corresponding budget.
