REQUEST:
The applicant has submitted a land use application to Lindon City requesting an amendment to the Lindon City General Plan Street Master Plan Map. The proposed amendment requests a reduction in the width of the future 1200 E. Arterial Street located directly behind the homes
at 663 E. 770 N., 677 E. 771 N., 689 E. 770 N., and 771 E. 770 N. A map of the subject area is found on the opposite side of this notice. The land use application submitted by Mr. Gardner does not identify which street designation, as established in the Lindon City General Plan and the Lindon City Land
Development Policies, Standard Specifications and Drawings Manual, the applicant is requesting for the reduced-width section of the future 1200 E. roadway.
The Lindon City Planning Commission serves as the recommending authority for amendments to the Lindon City General Plan. After reviewing the request, the Planning Commission will forward its recommendation to the Lindon City Council, which will make the final decision regarding the proposed amendment to the Lindon City General Plan Street Master Plan Map.
TIME & PLACE OF HEARING:
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on this item on August 25, 2026. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. The City recommends emailing any comments prior to the meeting to planning@lindon.gov or providing written comments to the Lindon City Community Development Department. All emailed and written comments will be provided to the Planning Commission prior to the meeting. During public meetings, the Planning Commission chair reserves the right to limit the time allowed for oral testimony.
