3.A. RESOLUTION - A Resolution of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, Approving the Fiscal Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan and Authorizing Its Submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
BACKGROUND: (Presented by Affordable Housing Coordinator, Kiara Polee) Eagle Mountain City receives annual funding as an Entitlement Community under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. HUD requires the City to adopt an Annual Action Plan each year identifying how those funds will be used during the upcoming program year in accordance with the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. Staff has completed the required public participation process, including public notice, a public comment period, and public hearings. Council approval will authorize submission of the Annual Action Plan to HUD by the August 14, 2026 deadline.

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN PUBLIC MEETINGS FOR ALL AGENDAS.
