PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing starting at the hour of 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Hall, 115 West Main, Mt. Pleasant, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public comment as follows:
1. Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay Zone Ordinance Amendment. Consideration of proposed amendments to Section 10.16.030, Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay Zone, including amendments relating to residential density, allowable housing types, development standards, review and approval procedures, development agreements, and other related provisions.
2. Medium-High Density Residential (MHDR) Overlay Zone Ordinance Amendment. Consideration of proposed amendments to Section 10.16.040, Medium-High Density Residential (MHDR) Overlay Zone, including amendments relating to residential density, allowable housing types, development standards, application and review requirements, traffic analysis, development agreements, and other related provisions.
3. Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay Zone Change. Consideration of a request to apply the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay Zone to property generally located north of the Pleasant View Subdivision and west of the Mountainville Farms Subdivision, in the area of approximately 300 North to 500 North and 400 East to 700 East, Mount Pleasant, Utah, as shown on the accompanying map.
4. Medium-High Density Residential (MHDR) Overlay Zone Change. Consideration of a request to apply the Medium-High Density Residential (MHDR) Overlay Zone to property generally located near 1000 South and 70 West, Mount Pleasant, Utah, as shown on the accompanying map.
Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearings and provide comment. Written comments may also be submitted to Mount Pleasant City prior to the meeting.
