Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission will hold a meeting on Monday, August 17, 2026, beginning at approximately 8:00 A.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: Salt Lake City Public Library, Level 4 Conference Room located at 210 E 400 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. If arriving before 10:00 A.M., meeting attendees must enter the library through the east plaza entrance.
A virtual option is also available. The public may register for the virtual meeting option at the following link, which is specific to the registrant and should not be shared. After registering the registrant will receive an email containing a meeting access link.

Please note: For in-person meeting attendees, masks are no longer required at Salt Lake City Public Library, Level 4 Conference Room, but are welcome for any attendees who prefer to continue using them.

1. Chair Erin Mendenhall will call the meeting to order and welcome Board members and the public.
2. Staff will take roll call attendance.
3. (Action) The Board will consider approving the minutes of the June 22, 2026 Board meeting.
8:05 A.M. Board Business
1. New Stakeholders. Consideration of Resolution 2026-22 Appointing a Member of the Stakeholders Council.
2. Annual Meeting Schedule. Consideration of Resolution 2026-23 Establishing an Annual Meeting Schedule for the CWC's Public Bodies for 2027.
3. Website Redesign Contract. Consideration of Resolution 2026-24 Approving an Independent Contractor Agreement with Clarify Web Design, LLC for Website Redesign Services.
4. Employment Contract. Consideration of Resolution 2026-25 Approving an Employment Agreement with Anette Fuentes as a Part-time Intern.
5. Forest Service Restroom Contract. Consideration of Resolution 2026-26 Approving a Modification of Grant or Agreement with U.S. Forest Service, Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, for Restroom Maintenance Funding.

1. Executive Director Lindsey Nielsen will discuss what is in the CWNCRA.
10:35 A.M. Possible Closed Session to Discuss Litigation, Property Acquisition/Leasing/Exchange, the Character and Professional Competence or Physical or Mental Health of an Individual, or Another Purpose Authorized by UTAH CODE ANN. 52-4-205(1).

1. Commissioner Robinson will discuss the path forward for the CWNCRA.
