TRUTH IN TAXATION
MEETING NOTICE AND AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Kaysville City Council will hold a council meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers in Kaysville City Hall at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, UT. The meeting will be streamed live on YouTube, and the link to the meeting will be posted on www.KaysvilleLive.com.
Individuals may participate in the public hearing either in person or remotely. Those wishing to comment during the public hearing do not need to sign up in advance and will be given up to three minutes to speak. Those wishing to participate remotely may register at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/1997410662555071068.
If you are participating remotely and wish to speak, please use the 'Raise Hand' feature. When it is your turn to comment, your name will be called, and you will be unmuted so you may address the City Council.
Comments may also be submitted to the City Council via email at publiccomment@kaysville.gov; however, emailed comments will not be read aloud during the meeting. They will be provided to the City Council and retained as part of the public record.
TRUTH IN TAXATION CITY COUNCIL MEETING - 7:00 PM The agenda shall be as follows:
1) OPENING
2) PUBLIC HEARING - FISCAL YEAR 2027 BUDGET TRUTH IN TAXATION
a) Public hearing regarding the proposed FY 2027 property tax increase. Individuals wishing to comment may do so in person or remotely. See the participation instructions above for information on remote participation and public comment procedures.
3) ADOPTION OF THE 2026 CERTIFIED TAX RATE FOR KAYSVILLE CITY AND THE FINAL FISCAL YEAR 2027 BUDGETS
4) ADJOURNMENT

A member of the governing body may participate in meetings by telephone providing that at least three members of the City Council are present in person at the meeting, no more than two members of the governing body participate by telephone, and if the Mayor is participating by telephone, the governing body shall elect one of the members physically present to preside over the meeting as Mayor pro-tempore.
