1. PRESENTATION-South Davis Metro Fire Service Area Fiscal Year '27 Budget and The Truth In Taxation Process
a. Presentation of the Proposed FY27 Final Budget for the General Fund And Other Funds
b. Statement of the dollar amount of additional ad valorem tax revenue that would be generated
each year by the proposed increase in the certified tax rate
c. Presentation of the reasons for the proposed tax increase, including the taxing entity's intended
use of additional ad valorem tax revenue
d. Present the Property Tax Impact Schedule for the FY27 budget
e. Presentation of the Combined Ad of the Davis County Notice of Proposed Tax Increase
f. Presentation of How the Public Can Participate In-Person or Virtually
2. PROPERTY TAX PUBLIC HEARING: Proposed Property Tax Increase for Fiscal Year 2027 Final Budget
a. Each speaker must state name and city of residence for the public record
b. Comments are limited to 3 minutes to ensure all attendees have an opportunity to speak
c. Physical Attendees will be allowed to comment
d. Virtual attendees will be allowed to comment
e. Reading of email comments

3. ACTION ITEMS
a. Consideration to Adopt Resolution 2026-10 Setting the 2026 Tax Year Final Certified Property
Tax Rate (Form PT-800) and adopting the Fiscal Year 2027 Final Budget for the General and all Other Funds.
b. If the preceding resolution is not adopted, the Board Chair must state the date and time that the rate and Fiscal Year 2027 Budget will be included on a South Davis Metro Fire agenda for consideration.
