Description/Agenda: This is a public notice to all Deweyville Cemetery Deed holders (plot owners) that in an effort to maintain integrity of our cemetery records for the LOWER (WEST SECTION) Cemetery plots, and to verify open cemetery plots we are requiring that you provide proof of ownership (plot deed) to the Town of Deweyville via email to deweyville@deweyvilleut.gov or int he office during the business hours of Tuesday's and Thursday's 10am-4pm by September 30, 2026. This is only required for plots in the LOWER WEST SECTION If no proof of ownership is provided, and there has been no recorded communication with the claimant for 60 years, then the Town of Deweyville will consider plots without a deed open and will sell these plots.
