PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of Price City, Utah, will hold a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 185 East Main, Price, Utah, at 05:30 PM on 07/22/2026. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs.

4.GENERAL BUSINESS/DISCUSSION
a. FCCLA MEMBERS RECOGNITION. FCCLA spokesperson, Zander Carrillo and FCCLA members will be in attendance to receive recognition for recently competing and earning top 10 finishes at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
b. FEE WAIVER REQUEST. Ashley Yakovich, Castle Valley Community Theater will be in attendance to request a fee waiver for use of the Price City Auditorium for rehearsals and performances from November 23rd to December 14th, 2026.
c. PUBLIC HEARING. Public hearing to receive input regarding the donation of the proceeds from the Liberty Gala to the American Legion.
d. DONATION. Consideration and possible approval of the donation of the proceeds from the American 250 Gala to the American Legion Post 3.
e. LANDSCAPE INCENTIVE PROGRAM. Matthew O'Brien, DNR will be in attendance to discuss a Landscape Incentive program for water conservation.
f. RESOLUTION NO. 2026-17. Consideration and possible approval of A Resolution Supporting 'A Bolder Way Forward', a Statewide Initiative to Help Utah Women and Girls Thrive.
g. RESOLUTION 2026-18 ADOPTION OF CARBON COUNTY PRE-DISASTER MITIGATION PLAN 12/10/2025. Consideration and possible approval to adopt the Carbon County Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan 12/10/2025 as Price City's current Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan
h. RESOLUTION NO. 2026-19. Consideration and possible approval of A Resolution Adopting a Price City Owned Space Rental Fee Schedule and Policy.
5.CONSENT AGENDA
a. MINUTES for 07-08-2026 City Council Workshop and City Council.
b. BILLBOARD DECLARATION OF SURPLUS AND GIFT TO USU-E. Consideration of declaration of the Price City owned billboard along Highway 6 as surplus to the needs of Price City and further authorize its donation/gift to Utah State University-Eastern.
c. MANAGING DEFENDER AGREEMENT. Consideration and possible approval of the 2026-2027 managing public defender services agreement between Price City and Robert Oliver.
d. INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT. Consideration and possible approval of an Interlocal Agreement for the Provison of Indigent Defense Services between Price City and Carbon County, $8300/month.
e. LANDOWNER-OPERATOR RESTORATION AGREEMENT. Consideration and possible approval of a Landowner-Operator Restoration Agreement. Agreement is the final step of reclamation of real property owned by Price City that contained a gas well operated by Costal Plains Energy in the Miller Creek area (mineral lease dollars to Price City). Well has been closed, removed and Price City Public Works has verified the reclamation of the site.
