TREE PLANTING CEREMONY IN CELEBRATION OF SOUTH OGDEN CITY'S 90TH ANNIVERSARY
TUESDAY, JULY 7, 2026- 5PM
Notice is hereby given that the regularly scheduled City Council Work Session for July 7, 2026 at 5 pm has been cancelled. Instead, a tree planting ceremony in recognition of South Ogden City's 90th anniversary will be held. The ceremony will take place by the flag pole and war memorial to the east of City Hall located at 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403.
The ceremony is open to the public and the City Council would like to invite and encourage all residents to attend.
Although a full quorum of the Council will be present, no city business will be discussed or voted upon. This will be a social event meant only to celebrate the 90th anniversary of South Ogden becoming a city, which happened on July 6, 1936.

Notice is hereby given that the South Ogden City Council will hold their regularly scheduled council meeting at 6 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2026. The meeting will be located at City Hall, 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403, in the city council chambers. The meeting is open to the public; anyone interested is welcome to attend. Some members of the council may be attending the meeting electronically. The meeting will also be streamed live via www.youtube.com/@southogdencity.
