Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Meeting Agenda Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, June 25, 2026, 7 PM Meeting Place: Old Town Hall (105 South 100 East) Opening Motions Excused: Nancy Webster, Eleesha Tucker, Susanne Seegmiller, Sheri Britsch Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve May meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) - Discuss SHPO grant application. - Provide update on the city's Main Street consultant project. Community Outreach (Amy Wadley) - Debrief the June 17 Little Denmark walking tour. - Discuss the July 20 Main Street walking tour. - Brainstorm Fall Lecture ideas. - Seek a volunteer to oversee our Instagram account. - Discuss community Christmas event and make assignments with deadlines (i.e., contact school choirs at the beginning of the school year). - Discuss idea to change next year's walking tour format to resemble the garden tour. (Denise) Archives (Sharalyn Howcroft) History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) Present status of the 200 South walking tour book. Other Business Items 1. Discuss Heritage Festival with Andi Veenker's assistant. 2. Talk about adding an attendance component to our bylaws. 3. Present key information learned from the June 12 SHPO Preservation Engaged Conference. (Denise, Laurel, Jeanne) 4. Discuss regular attendance at city council meetings. (Denise) 5. Overview our July meeting, which will be our yearly brainstorming session reflecting our FY2026 budget. (Come prepared with project ideas.)
