NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SUNSET CITY CORPORATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sunset City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at Sunset City Hall, 200 West 1300 North, Sunset, Utah.
The public hearing is being held pursuant to Utah Code § 10-3-818 to receive public comment regarding a proposed five percent (5%) cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) to employee compensation for Fiscal Year 2027. The proposed adjustment includes elected officials, executive municipal officers, and other City employees as provided in the proposed budget and compensation schedule.
The public hearing will be held separately from, but in conjunction with, the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026 amended budget and Fiscal Year 2027 Final Budget.
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments may also be submitted to the Sunset City Recorder's Office prior to the public hearing.
