Notice is hereby given that there is one (1) upcoming vacancy that will exist to serve on the South Davis Recreation District Board. This vacancy will be filled by the current South Davis Recreation District Board member that are comprised of the cities within District boundaries in accordance with the following:
The vacancy that is to be filled by the South Davis Recreation District Board is to be filled by appointment. The term will be a four-year term.
In order to qualify for a board member vacancy, interested individuals must:
Be a registered voter at the location of the member's residence; and
Be a resident within the boundaries of the South Davis Recreation District (Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful, Woods Cross).
Complete an application form, including a Resume and Statement of Interest.
The procedures for appointment that the Board of the South Davis Recreation District will follow in making appointments to fill the board vacancies are as follows:
The Board of the District will analyze the applications and materials submitted by each applicant for the board member vacancies.
The Board of the will conduct interviews in a public meeting for applicants it determines are the best qualified to fill the board member vacancy.
The Board of the District will appoint an applicant to fill the board member vacancy and announce the appointment at a regularly scheduled board meeting.
The application process will be open from June 9th, 2026 - July 7th, 2026. Interested parties should submit an application at www.southdavisrecreation.gov/south-davis-
recreation-district-board-application, or in person at the South Davis Recreation Center, with all necessary information, to:
