NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Amendment to Orderville Town Municipal Code
Public notice is hereby given that on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 5:35 p.m. in the basement of the Orderville Town Office, located at 425 East State Street, Orderville, Utah, the Orderville Town Council will hold a Public Hearing to receive comment on the proposed amendments to the Orderville Town Municipal Code.
The proposed amendments are in TITLE 8 CHAPTER 9 ZONING DISTRICTS SECTION 9.10.2 & 9.10.6:
Amendment to 9.10.2
Current: Subsection 9.10.2 - Qualifying Regulation
All properties considered for this zone shall share a common boundary with an existing C-1 zoned property.
Amendments: All properties considered for this zone shall share a common boundary with an existing C-1 zoned property. Streets, alleys, rights-of-way, waterways, no-man land, strips or parcels less than ten (10) feet in width, and single points of contact shall not establish a common boundary.
Amendment to 9.10.6
Current: Minimum area, width, and yard requirements: Area 7,000 sq. ft.; Width 70'; Front 25'; Side 8' & 10'; Rear 10'
Amendments: Minimum area, width, and yard requirements: Area: No minimum, Width: No minimum
Front: 10' (25' on a corner lot), Side: None, except 10' when adjacent to a residence or residential zone, 20' when adjacent to a street, Rear: None, except 10' when adjacent to a residence or residential zone
All interested persons desiring input into this public hearing are invited to attend. A copy of the proposed amendments to the Orderville Town Municipal Code are available for review at the Orderville Town Office during regular business hours.
