APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April 7th, 2026 Changes: Approved: 3. CONFIRM ATTENDANCE/QUORUM June 2, 2026, SCPAAB Meeting Attend: Absent: 4. BOARD WRITTEN UPDATES (Review and ask questions as needed in Board Comments) a) Henefer Civic Center Public Art & Pianos Update No update since last meeting: Jocelyn wrote a RAP Tax Grant for $3,750 for Art Pianos. This funding includes two performances, maintenance of existing pianos, fee to move piano and an original artwork design for Henefer. We have additional funding to move forward with the New Park piano. We will wait for the results of the grant (anticipated in June) before we release one RFP for both projects. We will discuss further details of the RFP (such as theme) at a future meeting after we understand final funding allocations. b) Silver Summit Services Building Artful Benches RFP Update The RFP has been released (here). RFP is due on May 22, and the board will review submissions on June 2 at the regularly scheduled meeting. The RFP is for 7 artful benches. Two benches are 8 feet long and 5 benches are 5 feet long. Total project budget is $52,000. c) Signage for Roundabout Sculptures All permitting has been completed for signs, and signs have been fabricated. We anticipate signage installation by mid-April. d) Quilted Together Project Agreements with the artists and State Parks have been executed and finalized!! The artists' first payment (50%) has been released. The artists are working towards an early May (around May 19). We have requested a two-week extension to the grant spending deadline. The ribbon cutting was rescheduled for June 19 at 11 a.m. at the project site due to additional coordination of County schedules. Artists have received sign off from County Building Official and are in fabrication phase of the artwork. We are concurrently working on signage and will also work on media release for the artwork as it gets closer to installation. e) Pedestrian Bridge Project Notes from our meeting last month were included as part of the minutes. At this time there is no further action needed from the board. Carl and other County representatives will follow up with next steps over the next few months. f) Board Vacancies There are no board vacancies this year, which means we will not need to do any recruitment this Spring for vacant/open seats. We will review board vacancies next spring ahead of the terms ending in July 2027. 5. PEAK BUILDING Project Discussion (20 minutes) - Jocelyn Scudder a) Jocelyn will review possible project locations and high-level themes for potential RFP development. (Please review attachment) b) Board prioritize recommended project areas for the development of an RFP. 9.
