3. Recognitions:
a. Detective Breianna Bakker - Police Officer of the Year. Recognizing Ogden City Detective Breianna Bakker for being named the 2026 Large Agency Officer of the Year by the Utah Chiefs of Police Association.
b. Chief Jacob Sube - Police Chief of the Year. Recognizing Ogden City Police Chief Jacob Sube for being named the 2026 Large Agency Chief of the Year by the Utah Chiefs of Police Association.
4. Approval of Minutes:
a. Work session of March 3, 2026 - Council member Lundell
b. Regular meeting of March 3, 2026 - Council member Myers
5. Public Hearing:
a. Code Services and Community Risk Reduction Reorganization. Proposed Ordinance 2026-4 reflecting a staffing reorganization that transfers the Code Services Division from the Community and Economic Development Department to the Fire Department where it will be restructured as the Community Risk Reduction Team and amending the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget to reallocate funds between the Community and Economic Development and Fire Departments to reflect this reorganization. (Adopt/not adopt ordinance - roll call vote)
6. Report from Administration:
a. Ogden Fire Interlocal Agreement with Weber County. Proposed Resolution 2026-2 approving an interlocal cooperation agreement with Weber County for the provision of paramedic services. (Adopt/not adopt resolution - roll call vote)
7. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any issue or topic. To ensure that the meeting is managed in an orderly and efficient manner, public comments will be limited to three minutes or less per person, as determined by the Council Chair. Participants are to state their names for the record. Comments which cannot be made within the established time limit may be submitted to the City Council Office by email at citycouncil@ogdencity.gov, online at www.ogdencity.com/publicinput, or by voice message at 801-629-8158.
