- JOB OPENING PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE Kamas City has a full-time employment opportunity for the position of Public Works Laborer I, Laborer II, or Laborer III. Under the supervision of the Public Works Director, performs a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, facilities, and tools. Handles a variety of materials, conducts clean-up activities, and provides general maintenance of city right-of-way and related utilities. A current CDL driver's license will be required at the time of being hired or within six (6) months. Water and sewer certifications will be required within eighteen (18) months of being hired. Starting salary depending on experience and qualifications are as follows: Laborer 1: $18.04-$25.26, Laborer II: $22.31-$31.23, Laborer III: $25.67-$35.93 per hour, along with an excellent benefit package.
