30 Day Comment Period:
Proposed Revisions to Environmental Health Fee Schedule and Summit County Code of Health Chapter 6
April 11, 2026 - May 10, 2026
The Summit County Health Department is initiating a 30-day formal notice-and-comment period to allow the public to review and provide feedback on proposed revisions to
1. the Environmental Health Division fee schedule, including the addition of a new fee for groundwater monitoring, and
2. the Code of Health Chapter 6: Food Service Sanitation.
Written comments may be submitted to the Health Department by email or mail. Comments may also be provided by telephone at 435-333-1500.
The proposed groundwater monitoring fee is based on an hourly rate of $107 and an average of six (6) hours per project, resulting in an estimated total fee of $642 per service.
