WEST VALLEY CITY PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing of the West Valley City Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in West Valley City Hall, 3600 Constitution Blvd., West Valley City, Utah. A premeeting will be held at 3:30 PM. Members of the press and public are invited to attend in person or view this meeting live on Zoom at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83896786911.
Preliminary application information will be available by 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2026 at https://www.wvc-ut.gov/669/Agendas-Minutes. Staff analyses, as well as any final application materials, will be updated by 12:00 PM on Monday, April 8, 2026.
Testimonies for or against the proposed applications can be provided to the Planning Commission during the public hearing or in writing prior to the hearing. If you wish to submit written comments, be advised that this should be provided to the Planning Staff member assigned to the application at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting to enable the Planning Commission to properly consider the comments.
SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS
SV-1-2026 Petition by West Valley City requesting consideration to vacate a portion of 2300 South (Second Street) within the Hayne's Addition Plat E Subdivision. C-2-2026 Petition by Hayley Pratt, representing Castlewood Development, requesting conditional use approval for a 330-unit apartment development. The property is located at 2940 West 3650 South on 3.02 acres and is zoned CC (City Center) and R-2-8 (Two Unit Dwelling Residential, minimum lot size 8,000 square feet).
