A. Approval of the March 4th meeting minutes.
B. How HB 450 affects the structure and duties of the Commission:
i. New 'private citizen' and State Board of Education Commissioner positions (lines 504 - 506)
ii. Participation requirements and rulemaking (lines 546 - 551)
iii. Switch from being supported by the Auditor's Office to being supported by the Office of Data Privacy (line 543)
iv. Streamlined UPC reporting requirements, now only one report due annually, by October 1st to the Government Operations Interim Committee (lines 592 - 593)
v. New relationship with the Data Privacy Governing Board
vi. Review of the Commission's statutory duties, including the new duties to: Consult with public and private entities (lines 588 -589), Recommend which information in governmental entities' privacy program reports should be public records (line 591), and Work with the Office of Data Privacy on a Technology Transparency Study, due November, 2027 (lines 998 - 1017)
C. Subcommittees:
i. Review the current list -
- Is it accurate and does anyone want to change assignments? We can now have up to six regular members per subcommittee due to the enlarged Commission.
- Do we still benefit from having these subcommittees?
- Do we need one or two new subcommittees to handle work on ALPR and the Technology Transparency Study
D. UPC Support and Budget: Beginning to think about our needs in light of the UPC's new duties and structure
E. Developing the annual UPC Agenda
